I have more than a decade of experience working in journalism, production, branded content and innovation. From building an award-winning creative studio to leading video and emerging platforms production at The Washington Post to driving innovative experiences and design—I’ve found that creative ideas + genuine empathy + a little experimentation = a pretty magical combo.
Music has always been my soul food, and I work with a group of fellow musicians and creatives to develop and activate music spaces in our community, like OntheOne Music and a future music maker space. I also founded and launched The Platform, a creative group that uses music and art to connect people through stories and experiences. By collaboratively fueling our music scene and creative culture, we help transform our city from the inside out.
I live with my family in N.C.—in our latest self-designed and renovated fixer-upper—with frequent stops in the Washington, D.C. area. You can check out our renovation adventures at #tobeyreno.
